Dawn Gorman believes poetry should be everywhere - puts it on beermats, uses it to
work with people with memory loss, facilitates writing workshops, organises poetry
events and runs international poetry competitions. She is widely published, and has
performed in New York, Paris, London - and lots of smaller places in between.

A Paradoxical Autumn Night's Dream

A colourful end of autumn celebration in a new, warm and cosy space, exploring the mysterious paradox of poetry. The evening will include songs and readings from Liam, jazz vocalist Renee Daniel, musician and DJ David Aragon, local poets Rebecca Brewin and Dawn Gorman, plus more.
Dawn's set will be at around 19.30.
Dawn Gorman's poetry often explores the way a close look at nature can transform our perception of what we assume to be 'reality'. From a young father's pact with a stream down a country lane, to why a beetle might be more important than Facebook, she will take you to a place where the lines between dream and reality all but vanish.
