Dawn Gorman believes poetry should be everywhere - puts it on beermats, uses it to
work with people with memory loss, facilitates writing workshops, organises poetry
events and runs international poetry competitions. She is widely published, and has
performed in New York, Paris, London - and lots of smaller places in between.

Interpreter's House Launch 63, Poetry Swindon Festival

1st October 2016, 7:00pm - 10:00pm, Central Community Centre, Emlyn Square, Swindon SN1 5BP

Poetry Swindon is delighted to welcome The Interpreter's House to its festival and to the former GWR hospital which served as a template for the NHS. The magazine is now in its 32nd year. Over 500 writers have appeared in their pages including John Siddique, Ian McMillan, Dan O' Brien, Alison Brackenbury, Jonathan Edwards, John McCauliffe, Rory Waterman, Mario Petrucci, Penelope Shuttle, Bernard O' Donaghue, Vona Groarke and many poets whose work is published for the first time.
The publication appears in February, June and October. The editor is Martin Malone with Charles G Lauder Jr.
The event will end with readings from the Interpreter's House team: Martin Malone, Charles G Lauder Jr, and Louise Crossley.
