Dawn Gorman believes poetry should be everywhere - puts it on beermats, uses it to
work with people with memory loss, facilitates writing workshops, organises poetry
events and runs international poetry competitions. She is widely published, and has
performed in New York, Paris, London - and lots of smaller places in between.

Thrilled to be poet-in-residence for National Poetry Day at excellent Town Hall Arts in Trowbridge, where I'll be offering everyone who drops in on the day - even complete poetry phobes!! - the chance to create a poem on this year's theme of Freedom. No pressure, just lots of fun ideas to help you make a strong statement about the subject of Freedom. What does that word mean to you? All welcome. Free of charge.
